Terms of Service

Last updated 17 September 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the METHOD. website, mobile application, and related coaching services (together, the "Service"), provided by Method Endurance Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17248255), trading as METHOD. ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, joining the waitlist, subscribing, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

Method Endurance Ltd is registered in England and Wales (company number 17248255). Our registered office is at 17 Newton Green, Nailsea, Bristol, BS48 4RF, United Kingdom. You can contact us at admin@methodendurance.app with any questions about these Terms or the Service.

2. The Service

METHOD. provides AI-assisted endurance training guidance for cyclists and runners, built on the coaching methodology of Belmont Performance. The Service generates training suggestions, plans, and feedback based on information you provide and data from connected devices.

The Service is a general fitness and training tool. It adapts to the information available to it and is intended to support, not replace, your own judgement and that of qualified professionals.

3. Health, fitness and "not professional advice" disclaimer

Please read this section carefully. METHOD. provides general training guidance only. It is not medical, physiotherapy, nutritional, or other professional advice, it is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, monitor, treat, or prevent any medical condition. No coaching relationship of a regulated kind is created by your use of the Service.

Endurance training involves physical exertion and carries inherent risks, including injury. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You should consult a qualified medical professional before beginning, changing, or intensifying any training programme, particularly if you have any existing health condition, injury, or concern.
  • You are solely responsible for assessing your own fitness to undertake any activity the Service suggests, and for deciding whether to follow any guidance it provides.
  • You participate in all training and physical activity at your own risk.
  • The Service's suggestions are generated automatically from the data available to it, are not individually reviewed by a coach before you receive them, and may not account for factors it has not been told about. You should use your own judgement and stop if you feel unwell or in pain.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, health consequence, or loss arising from your participation in physical activity, including activity undertaken in reliance on the Service.

4. How the AI works and its limits

The Service uses artificial intelligence and automated processing to generate training suggestions, plans, and feedback. You should understand that:

  • AI-generated guidance is probabilistic. It can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your particular circumstances, and it will not always be right.
  • Suggestions are decision-support, not instructions. They are not reviewed by a human coach before you receive them, and the decision whether to act on any suggestion is always yours.
  • We do not warrant that any suggestion, plan, or output is accurate, fit for a particular purpose, or will produce any particular training or performance outcome.

We describe how automated decision-making affects your personal information, and your related rights, in our Privacy Policy.

5. Connected devices and third-party services

The Service can connect to third-party platforms and devices (for example, Garmin, Strava, TrainingPeaks, or similar) to import your training data. Those services are operated by third parties, not by us. We do not control them, we are not responsible for them, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not guarantee that any third-party integration will be available, uninterrupted, or maintained. A third-party provider may change, restrict, or withdraw access to its data or interfaces at any time, which may affect or disable parts of the Service through no fault of ours.

6. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please tell us promptly at admin@methodendurance.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

7. Beta and early access

Parts of the Service may be offered as a beta, early-access, or trial release. Beta features are provided for evaluation, may be incomplete or experimental, and may behave unpredictably. We may add, change, limit, or withdraw beta access at any time, and we make no service-level commitments in respect of beta features.

8. Subscriptions, pricing and billing

Access to the Service requires a paid subscription. The subscription costs £15 per month, inclusive of any applicable VAT, and the price is shown at the point of purchase before you subscribe. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.

  • How you pay. You can subscribe through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or directly on our website. If you subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, payment is taken by Apple or Google under their own terms, and billing, renewal and payment methods are managed through your Apple or Google account. If you subscribe on our website, payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. We do not store your full card details.
  • Subscription management. We use RevenueCat, a subscription management service, to confirm your subscription status across platforms. RevenueCat receives purchase and subscription information from Apple, Google and Stripe, but not your full card details.
  • Price changes. We may change the subscription price. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any change takes effect, and the new price will apply from your first renewal after that notice period. If you do not wish to pay the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect. For App Store and Google Play subscriptions, price changes are also subject to Apple's or Google's processes, which may require you to accept the new price before it applies.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend or cancel your access until payment is successfully made.

9. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will keep access until then. How you cancel depends on how you subscribed: through your Apple ID subscription settings for App Store purchases, through your Google Play subscriptions for Google Play purchases, or by contacting us at admin@methodendurance.app for website purchases. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

We do not generally provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law. Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.

If you are a consumer in the UK, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Because the Service is digital content and services supplied immediately, by subscribing and asking us to begin providing the Service straight away you acknowledge that you will lose this 14-day right to cancel once we have begun supplying the Service to you. Nothing in these Terms removes your non-excludable statutory rights.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully or for any unlawful purpose; attempt to copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract the underlying methodology, models, or code; resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs commercially without our permission; or interfere with the security or operation of the Service.

11. Your data and content

You retain ownership of the personal training data you provide. You grant us a licence to process that data in order to operate and provide the Service to you. We will only use your personal training data to develop or train our own models with your separate, explicit consent. Because the Service relies on automated decision-making, and because some of the data we handle is health data, how we process your personal information, the legal bases we rely on, and your related rights are set out in detail in our Privacy Policy.

12. Feedback

If you give us feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service (including during a beta), you agree that we may use them freely, without restriction or obligation to you, to operate and improve the Service. You do not have to provide feedback, and any feedback you do provide is given voluntarily.

13. Our intellectual property

The Service, including the METHOD. brand, the application, and the underlying Belmont Performance coaching methodology, models, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you; you receive only a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

14. Availability and changes to the Service

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. As an early-stage and evolving product, features may change, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result or performance outcome will be achieved.

15. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under law.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, except those that cannot be excluded by law.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from your reliance on training guidance generated by the Service.
  • Our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the Service in that period, or (b) £50.

If you are a consumer, these limits apply only so far as they are fair and reasonable, and they do not affect your non-excludable statutory rights.

16. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, the sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, intellectual property, feedback, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

17. Complaints and dispute resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at admin@methodendurance.app so we can try to resolve it. If we cannot resolve it between us and you are a consumer, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme. This does not affect your right to bring proceedings as described under "Governing law" below.

18. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any plan details shown at purchase, form the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will continue to apply.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a right or provision, that is not a waiver of it.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours, for example as part of a reorganisation, sale, or acquisition, provided your rights are not adversely affected.
  • Events outside our control. We are not liable for failure or delay in providing the Service caused by events outside our reasonable control.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where changes are material, we will give you reasonable notice (for example, by email or in-app). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts.
